About Bruce Crossing

One of the first commercial operations in Bruce Crossing was a sawmill. In 1888, the first post office was opened. Its original postmaster was Donald M. Bruce and the town was named for him. He also owned a store near the railway.

Today, Bruce Crossing is known for its outdoor activities.
