Welcome to Princeton

About Princeton

Princeton is in a centrally-located spot in Wisconsin just west of Green Lake. For outdoor enthusiasts, its location on the Fox River and near the Mecan River provides opportunities for canoers, bikers, kayakers, hunters, and fishermen.

For those who prefer shopping, Princeton also boasts the largest outdoor flea market in Wisconsin, where one can find almost any kind of fun things to buy including candles, antiques, decorative garden sculptures, handcrafted furniture, spices, the freshest cheese around, clothing, plants, books, the list is practically endless.

After combing through the market, other shopping options abound. There is the downtown, or you can drive to some of the off-the-beaten path shops and attractions to experience some of the finest urban flair shops in the state. Also available are two large antique malls; both on Hwy 23 right by the City Park/Flea Market, and there are also a number of antique/collectible shops throughout town.

An endless variety of restaurants provide diverse menus for the visitor and locals as well.

Princeton has also become a training ground and launching point for juvenile Whooping Cranes. Operation Migration recently moved their migration training grounds to the White River Marsh outside of Princeton. During your visit to the Princeton area you can get an up-front and personal view of the babies going through their flying lessons following the “Yellow Momma”.

Endless opportunities await you in the Town of Princeton. Check out one of the listings below and see why so many happy residents call Princeton home.
